Purpose: To help parents understand how SENBOX observes and records each child’s learning, communication, and functional abilities.

• At SENBOX, we know that every child learns differently. Some children may remember things easily, others may speak only when prompted, or may have trouble staying focused. These differences are not problems — they are valuable information that helps us understand how each child learns best.

• Our teachers carefully observe and record each student’s ability to focus, recall information, and communicate. This data helps us design learning plans that match each child’s needs, strengths, and pace.

By understanding your child’s learning profile, we can work together to create the most supportive and effective learning experience possible.

2. Health & Support Information

Purpose: To help parents understand the importance of sharing accurate medical and behavioral support information.

At SENBOX, we work closely with families to ensure every student receives the right care and learning support. Information about a child’s health, medication, or behavioral needs helps our team plan safe and effective learning experiences.

We coordinate with parents regarding:

• Medication: Understanding what medication a student takes helps us ensure their safety and monitor any effects that may influence learning or behavior.

• Testing and Assessments: We collaborate with families before and after any assessments to explain the purpose, process, and outcomes clearly.

• Level of Intervention: Support plans and interventions are chosen based on each student’s evaluation results and ongoing needs — ensuring help is personalized and appropriate.

3. Your Child’s Tests and Interventions Documentation & Permission 

Parents have the right to know every detail about their child’s testing, therapy, and interventions — whether they come from a doctor, clinic, or school program. 

Transparency and proper documentation protect your child and ensure the support they receive is safe and effective.

Always ask to see official documents, test results, and the names of the professionals involved. If you already have reports, share them with other trusted specialists and ask:

• What would they do differently, and why?

 4. Intervention Plan & Communication

Purpose: To help parents understand how interventions are planned, explained, and monitored at SENBOX.

Every child’s support plan is designed with clear goals and reasons behind each activity. We make sure parents understand what is being done, why it was chosen, and how progress will be measured.

Here’s how we approach it:

• Explain the Strategy: We describe the Holistic intervention (for example, we focus on a whole child, not only one area such as speech therapy, sensory play, or focused academic tasks) and how it fits your child’s needs.

• How It Helps: Each strategy is chosen for a reason — to strengthen communication, improve focus, or build learning skills.

• Why This Plan: The intervention is based on your child’s evaluation results and observed needs.

• When to Expect Progress: We set realistic goals and timelines, tracking changes regularly to adjust the plan when needed.
