At SENBOX, every day begins with energy and positivity through our Morning Exercise Program. This activity is designed not only to support the physical health of students but also to build important life skills and create a sense of community. Physical activity and structured exercise are effective, evidence-based practices (EBPs) for supporting students with disabilities, including autism and other special educational needs.
Improves Behaviour & Focus: Studies confirm that regular physical activity reduces challenging behaviours and improves on-task behaviour in the classroom.
Supports Social Skills: Group-based exercise (like walking together) promotes peer interaction, turn-taking, and cooperative play.
Enhances Learning Readiness: Morning movement increases alertness, helping students engage more effectively in academic tasks.
Boosts Physical & Mental Health: Exercise builds strength, coordination, and flexibility while lowering stress and anxiety.
At SENBOX, we believe that independence is the highest goal for every student. Independence is not simply about doing things alone — it is about building the confidence, skills, and resilience to participate in daily life meaningfully and safely.
Personal Care Skills: Learning routines such as dressing, eating, and hygiene with increasing autonomy.
Communication Skills: Using words, visuals, or devices to express needs and make choices confidently.
Community Participation: Walking safely in public spaces, following group routines, and respecting rules so that students can calmly access the community.
Decision-Making: Developing the ability to make simple but important choices — what to eat, what activity to join, how to respond to feelings.
Social Confidence: Practising interactions that allow them to build friendships, cooperate, and seek help when needed.
We set individually based activities for each child's level.
We monitor learning progress continuously, adjusting teaching methods and goals as needed in the IEP.
It's important to note that the specific academic topics and curriculum are based on the individual student's needs, grade level, and educational goals that can be set in their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
By combining data-driven decisions with evidence-based practices, we create a system where students thrive, teachers feel supported, and families can trust that their children are receiving world-class education and care.
Every student’s progress is carefully observed, recorded, and analysed.
Teachers use learning data, behavioural observations, and progress tracking tools to identify what strategies work best.
Decisions are not based on assumptions but on clear evidence from each child’s development.
SENBOX applies strategies and teaching methods that are internationally recognised as evidence-based practices.
These practices — such as structured teaching, exercise, reinforcement, and visual supports — are backed by research to improve learning outcomes for students with disabilities.
By applying EBP consistently, students receive interventions that are proven effective, not just experimental.
We take Pictures and videos so that parents can view daily notes, pictures, videos and updates on their child's progress.
We are able to Continuously assess your child's understanding and adjust the materials accordingly.
This helps ensure that the child isn't lost or confused about the concepts being taught.
We also maintain open communication for any parents' questions or concerns.
