SENBOX’S RESPONSIBILITIES TO FAMILIES:
To keep the students safe at all times.
To test and understand the difficulties/disabilities of the child in 2 weeks of observation.
To ensure your child has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for their intervention.
Introduce a new topic every 2 weeks.
To provide a written full-developmental report on goals every 12 weeks (1 per Term).
Allow parents to observe their children during lessons.
No more than 2-3 children per teacher.
Therapy and Relaxation sessions are applied such as music, water, sand, OT, clay, painting, celebrations, cooking, etc.
In case of sickness or illness, with the diagnosis document(s) issued by the doctor 50% fee of the day in which your child is off will be compensated.
Improve the educational and pedagogical efficiency of our teacher's regular training in vocational and professional knowledge.
Parents will receive a report 1-2 weeks after the terms end and an opportunity to discuss progress in a 30-minute meeting with the school.
Parents Responsibility to ensure progress
ask questions to the teacher
understand the level and progress of your child
plan with your teacher - give them a chance for 1-3 months
if you can't see progress ask for evidence
if the school can't show a progress video - or you can't see anything better
don't waste your time - the time of the child - find another school/teacher.
You can help your child learn by setting clear rules.
Show your child what to do - do not hit or shout - as it can cause more damage to the brain.
read a children's book about what you like your child to do.
Use pictures to explain to your child what to do.
learn about professional tools and strategies used by professional special teachers to train the brain.
